Echocardiographic images of a VSD associated with subaortic stenosis. Apical imaging (scene 1) demonstrates the large defect and the outlet septum deviated beneath the aortic valve. Parasternal long-axis images (scene 2) demonstrate the posterior deviation of the outlet septum resulting in subaortic stenosis. Arch imaging (scene 3) revealed that this patient also had aortic coarctation.
